Tonight myself and James tried our third Slow Cooker Sunday, a Chicken Cacciatore from Skinnytaste.
So far, while I hadn't been exactly disappointed with our previous efforts (a weak chilli con carne, and a macaroni cheese), this meal made me realise why we'd bought a slow cooker.
I made a few adaptations using what I had: enough chicken for 2 people, only one orange pepper, add in some tomato puree and a drop of red wine - but it was fantastic. Literally fall off the bone good, and I absolutely wolfed it down.
If you're looking for something to make you fall in love with your slow cooker, this is it. Plus it's good for you! There's nothing not to like.
